  2. This is such a beautiful article about a fantastic experience.  I don’t know that I will ever get to do that so I was glad to be able to read about it.  I live in the heart of wine country in California and love wine tasting outings to see the different wineries and learn about their vintages.  Being in the heart of French wine country would be a dream come true.  Although not a connoisseur, I enjoy wine tasting.  It is wonderful to see what is available in other parts of the world.

  6. Hi there,

Thank you for sharing this excellent article. I’ll share it with my friends and family.

I love red wine and river cruises. Although I have never tried this activity before, I am sure it’s romantic and relaxing to cruise along the French river. Watching the sunset with a delicious meal and a glass of dry red wine is something I wouldn’t miss for anything.

Just have a few questions, if you don’t mind. What is the cost of such a trip? And How long does it last?

We are planning to go to France in September. How is the weather at that time of the year? Do river cruises operate in the season?

    Thanks a lot!

    1. Hi Daniella, thank you  for your comments.

River cruising is beautiful all year round. I actually took a river cruise from Marseille to Lyon then spent 3 nights in Paris in September. The weather was perfect. Check out my pics https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzLJdg.

The trip length can vary. There are 5-day sailings and some as long as 45 nights for a 7-river journey through Europe. For more information on a river cruise just schedule a courtesy consult https://bit.ly/TRAVELCONSULT
